Rooms to Let 1, 2010
Curator and organizer.
Rooms to Let gave artists the opportunity to use a house as both space and medium for site-specific installations, performances, and artworks. Each artist engaged with the unique characteristics of the house to explore and question the meaning of a house and the idea of home. After six months of exploration and development, the works were completed and presented in a one-day public event that invited artists, families, neighbors, and the wider community to experience the projects together.
The first Rooms to Let took place at 249 Martin Ave, June 3, 2011 in Franklinton, Ohio USA.
